This video will tell you how to calculate the fall and gradient of your soil pipe going to the soil stack. This is MY way of doing it, and everyone has their own way so tweak it if need be. I’ll show you how to install the pipe clips, measure the drop of the run (or going as we call it) and how to test that the soil stack has an adequate drop to the stack.
