TEACHING A BEGINNER HOW TO MARBLE WITH GEL POLISH – STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL

Hey guys

In this video, we are going to show you how to do a marble Gel polish effect, I say we because look, We have Nancy who’s from Kenya but also lives in Switzerland. Nancy has never done nails before so this video is to take her through step by step and maybe show you guys how to follow the tutorials from a Beginners perspective.

So we both have a nail tip that we are going to be working on, We are going to be using 4 different shades of pink. We are going to start with a background colour for the whole nail. A common problem with beginners is that they usually apply a coat that is too thick. So now we’ve done our background we can start doing the marble effect with 3 different colours, You want to paint 3 lines down the nail and sort of entangle them, which you can see in the video, the trick to this is having them quite watery and not too dry for later on when we finish the marble effect.

Now with a clean brush, you can drag through from side top side starting from the top, you have to be very gentle and only use the tip of the brush or it’ll all end up in one big mush, once you’re done this from top to bottom you can start to drag it out in different directions, just make sure to not play around too much or you will spoil the Marble effect. As usual, I like to finish with the urban graffiti top coat.
